Your drawings should be sufficiently clear, drawn to scale, and dimensions. Another reason why drawing your pool to specs is so important is that this is what you will submit to your County or City for permit approval. Specs and a plat of your property (you can obtain a copy from your local Building and Zoning department, your Title company, or an area Realtor) displaying the location of the pool, any grading anticipated, existing structures on the property like your house or guest house, and a pool fence plan should be included.
